Vintage Pieces

Here are some of the vintage pieces in my wardrobe!
(FYI: These babies do not belong to my parents)

I've been in love with vintage clothes ever since I've started dressing more.. well, fashionably?
The fact that it has a sense of uniqueness and also there are limited pieces/only one piece in the WORLD draws me to love vintage clothes even more.

The love for vintage clothes had always been there for me, just that it is pretty difficult to find vintage clothes at really reasonable prices, be it online or stores.
I remembered stepping into a vintage store wanting to get a piece of apparel but it cost $39.90... Insane!
I guess that's what made me put aside my love for vintage clothes for a short while until I chanced upon my current favourite online store about a year or two ago, and also got to know a thrift store from a friend.

Of course, just like everyone else... I was a little skeptical about wearing other vintage clothes apart from my parents at first because I do not know who the previous owner was.
But this struck me, if lets say the previous owner was not alive anymore...
Wouldn't they be happy to see others wearing their clothes when they're in Heaven?

The concept is the same as of a designer.
When they design a particular kind of apparel and walk down the streets one day and found people wearing them, they'll be elated and filled with joy yeah? ( :

Furthermore, wearing vintage/old clothes is = recycling + saving money!
The only sad thing that I've encountered so far is that I do not know the "story" of the gorgeous apparel.
Since it's term 'vintage'... that single apparel speaks a whole new era which I probably do not know.

Need to overcome

Life is extremely short, for you don't know when your time will actually ends.
Though times do get tougher than it seems, there's still a need to overcome the obstacles.
You need to move on.
Things may not go in your way, especially when you're "young".
But friend... believe in the future, for greater things.

Keep believing.
